Privacy Policy

Interview Intelligence helps candidates prepare for tech interviews. We try to collect as little as possible and give you full control over what we keep.

What we collect

  • Account data — your email and, if you sign in with Google, your name and avatar.
  • Profile data — experience level, target level, and focus areas you enter yourself.
  • Study artifacts — study plans you save, mock-interview transcripts, and progress.
  • Resume content — when you run a Resume Gap analysis, your resume text is sent to our AI provider for that single request. We do not store the file.
  • Anonymous submissions — questions you contribute are stored without any link to your account.

How we use it

Your data powers personalization (study plans matched to your level), and your saved Library. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third parties

We use Google (sign-in), AI model providers for plan generation and mock interviews, and a web-research provider for live company intel. These providers process requests on our behalf and do not receive your account identifiers beyond what is required to deliver the response.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

  • Access & portability — your saved plans and sessions are visible in your Library.
  • Correction — edit your profile at any time on the Profile page.
  • Deletion — use the “Delete my data” button on your Profile page to wipe your account and all associated rows. The action is immediate and irreversible.
  • Opt-out of sale — we do not sell personal information.

Anonymous submissions

Community questions are stored without your user ID, IP, or email. Once submitted, they cannot be linked back to you, which also means we cannot delete an individual submission on request. Please redact any personal information (your name, your interviewer's name, internal project names) before submitting.
